Gareth

Gareth began BJJ at 30 while completing his PhD in Psychology, training in New Zealand and the UK before receiving his black belt from John Will in 2018. His coaching style is clear and approachable, helping everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners get the most from their jiu jitsu.

Alex is the kids’ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach at Cornerstone. He is a technically minded and thoughtful practitioner, and one of the most skilled training partners you’ll meet on the mats.

Nakita is the coach of our Kids BJJ programme, bringing a technical and supportive approach to every class. She focuses on helping young students build strong fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and a positive relationship with jiu jitsu.

Ethan brings a focused and technical approach to coaching, helping students understand the small details that make techniques work. He creates a supportive training environment where students can develop their skills, confidence, and overall understanding of jiu jitsu.

Jonno is as a founding member of Cornerstone BJJ. Known for his approachable nature and positive energy, he’s a constant presence on the mats. Jonno enjoys exploring and refining techniques, bringing curiosity and creativity to every training session.

Circle of the Land Druid
Inga brings a calm and creative approach to coaching, helping students build confidence and sharpen their technique on the mats. Off the mats, he is also our video editor, capturing and creating the content that showcases the Cornerstone Grappling community.
